H&H Baking Co. t-shirt

In 1888, the first Horn & Hardart restaurant opened at 37-39 South 13th St. in Philadelphia. The restaurant was such a success, that in 1898, Joseph Horn and Frank Hardart officially formed the Horn & Hardart Baking Co. The Philadelphia H&H locations would continue operating under this name until the 1980s.
